Vegan Lentil Burgers



Savory, healthy, and packed with flavor, these vegan lentil burgers are super easy to make! Pair them up with your favorite toppings for a scrumptious vegan meal that's perfect for feeding a crowd, but also easy enough for any quick weeknight dinner.



Ingredients:


14oz of cooked lentils

½ cup of seasoned breadcrumbs

½ cup grated white onion

1 egg

½ teaspoon of chili powder

salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 tablespoons of butter


Directions:


Place the lentils in a bowl and mash them, or you can use a food processor.


Add the breadcrumbs, onion, egg, chili powder, and salt and pepper.


Combine well.


Let mixture sit for 5 minutes


Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium- low heat.


Form mixture into equal sized patties.


Cook the patties for 5 minutes on each side.
